Environmental, Social, and Governance

Impact Report 2025

Introduction From The CEO

We are pleased to present Maybourne’s latest Impact Report, to update you on our progress over the past year and share our commitments for 2026. Our results reflect our deepening commitment to responsible growth and our belief that sustainability must sit at the heart of how we operate and lead.

For the third consecutive year, every hotel completed a comprehensive Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) assessment covering 90 focus areas. The results show strong progress, with five hotels achieving ‘ESG Excellent’ status. In the year ahead, we are preparing to take the next step in our environmental journey, pursuing EarthCheck certification.

In addition to ESG assessments, we also completed our third full Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions calculation. This has provided us with a clearer view of our carbon hotspots, allowing us to further our efforts in reducing emissions and achieving Net Zero by 2045.

Across the hotels, progress continues at pace. The Maybourne Beverly Hills has made a meaningful contribution to its local community. The Maybourne Riviera has introduced a range of initiatives to protect and enhance local biodiversity. The Berkeley and The Emory lead with a world-class waste-management programme and an outstanding 98% recycling rate. The Connaught has reduced its emissions by 18%, driven in part by reducing electricity consumption. Finally, Claridge’s has maintained its rigorous Health and Safety programme, reviewed and strengthened with new initiatives.

We are proud of how far we have come, while recognising that there is still much to achieve.

As CEO, I would like to thank the dedicated teams and ESG committees for their instrumental work driving positive change at all hotels as well as corporate office. In the months ahead, we look forward to seeing our 2026 plans unfold and updating you with our achievements.

Each hotel offers rooms and suites that provide guests with restorative comfort and calm. Our people are at the heart of everything we do. By investing in wellbeing, growth and high performance, we empower our teams to shape the future of Maybourne.

      Inspiring Partnerships

Maybourne is proud to work with some of the world's most prestigious brands and is committed to building long-term partnerships with organisations that share our values and our commitment to responsible business practices.

Last year, we developed and launched our Responsible Business Code of Conduct to ensure all partners, including suppliers, clearly understand the ethical standards that guide our operations. ESG considerations are now integrated into our procurement processes; we have introduced an ESG questionnaire for new suppliers and incorporated ESG weighting into major tender evaluations.

We will continue to collaborate closely with our partners to identify and adopt more sustainable options, whether by sourcing lower-impact products or exploring improved packaging solutions.

Our restaurants prioritise seasonal menus and work to cultivate partnerships with local, sustainable suppliers.
